The case study story

As a designer and project manager at a Saudi company, I undertook the responsibility of designing and managing a mobile application project called Home Services. The purpose of this project was to create a comprehensive platform that offers all the necessary maintenance services for households. The client aimed to enter the business world by providing a convenient and efficient solution for homeowners, while expanding their reach and establishing themselves as a reliable service provider. With my expertise and the team's dedication, we embarked on the journey of developing the Home Services application, striving to deliver a valuable service to homeowners.

Project Overview

My Role

Project manager directly with the client and specifically I was responsible for the user experience part, finding solutions for this product and managing the team members of the developers.

Problem Statement

The Home Services project was initiated to address the challenges faced by homeowners in accessing reliable maintenance services. Prior to the development of the application, homeowners often encountered difficulties in finding trustworthy service providers, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of the services provided. The lack of a centralized platform resulted in inefficiencies, wasted time, and frustration for homeowners. Recognizing these pain points, our client aimed to bridge the gap by creating the Home Services application, which would offer a one-stop solution for all maintenance needs, connecting homeowners with verified service providers and streamlining the process of booking, managing, and evaluating services.
