Project Overview
The council had the power to review and propose amendments to laws, review the general policy of the government, and discuss matters of national interest. However, its powers were limited compared to the People's Assembly, the lower house of the Egyptian Parliament.
My Role
I was responsible for the UX part, Finiding solutions for this product and building the dashboard front end.
Problem Statement
The Shura Council in Egypt faces various challenges in its operations, including outdated manual processes, inefficiencies in information management, and limitations in collaboration and decision-making. These challenges hinder the council's ability to fulfill its responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
The current systems and tools used by the Shura Council are inadequate in meeting the evolving needs of its members and stakeholders. There is a lack of a centralized and user-friendly platform that integrates various functionalities such as document management, scheduling, voting mechanisms, committee management, and information retrieval.
